Carlos: Will you explain something to me, boss?
Blaine: You really should be able to tie your own laces at your age, Carlos.
Carlos: We’re here… starving… dehydrated… in this shit-hole again… when we know there’s a safe-town with walls just mere miles away. Waiting for us to go and take it.
Blaine: That’s right.
Carlos: So, we’re supposed to stay away just because that bitch wouldn’t let us in!?
Blaine: Carlos, my friend. There’s a way of doing things. If you were in charge, what would you have us do?
Storm the compound?
Slit the woman’s throat?
Maybe we’d get in all right. Take out a few of her men before they’d even know what hit them.
Or maybe it wouldn’t be that easy.
Maybe she’s dangerous.
Maybe she’ll take us all out before we even make it to the gate.
There are lots of people out there who become powerful in times like these.
Some of it’s earned.
Some of it’s desired.
Others have it thrust upon them.
The difference between a leader and a guy like me, Carlos, and I hope you’re listening…
Is that I don’t bother with the politics.
I don’t react… or lash-out.
I’m not predictable.
I don’t pretend to be for the people. My goal is to stay alive.
Blaine: This Alexis woman. She saw that. She saw the truth standing directly in front of her and she couldn’t handle it. She knew she’d need to be like me in order to survive.
Blaine: I saw the fear in those eyes. She wanted to avoid it… to delay it…
Rest assured, Carlos. She’ll come crawling back. Sooner or later, she’ll require our talents. It’s only a matter of time…
Jai: I spoke to Henry. He agreed on the day. Would two in the afternoon suffice?
Alexis: Yes. We’ll meet, then.
That’s when we’ll make our move.
Blaine: But for now, Carlos. We let them play their little games.
Carlos: And we’re supposed to do what in the mean-time?
Michael: Today’s the day.
Alexis: Have you always felt the need to point out the obvious?
Michael: Why don’t you drop the icy exterior and talk to me?
Michael: Your plan. I mean, what are you going to do?
Alexis: To be honest, Michael, I haven’t fully decided yet.
Michael: They’re gonna want their man back.
Alexis: I’m aware.
Michael: And if they find out you’re keeping Bobby prisoner…
Alexis: I’m not just going to cave in and hand them over if that’s what you’re hoping.
Michael: Just promise me something?
Michael: Don’t be completely unreasonable.
Alexis: Who says I’m going to be?
Michael: Come on, Alexis. You’re difficult and you know you are. Just remember what I said… what sort of leader do you want to be?
Alexis: I guess I’ve still got to figure that out.
Michael: Well, you best get to it. I’ve got some paperwork to do. Speak to you later.
Jenson: You wanted to see me?
Alexis: How far to their camp?
Jenson: An hour, maybe two.
Alexis: If you were quick?
Jenson: I could get there sooner, yeah. Why?
Alexis: I want you and Matt to go scout the place one more time. See if they’re preparing anything.
Alexis: Have they gathered weapons? Vehicles? Are they training more men? Am I about to open my gate to a military?
Jenson: I thought this was a peaceful talk, to discuss the prisoner?
Alexis: That’s what I agreed to. But now I’m wondering if they have ulterior motives.
Jenson: I’m sure it’s not-
Alexis: It’s not up for debate, Jenson. Just take Matt and go. Get it done. But get back here quickly… we’ll need you for this afternoon.
Jenson: Of course.
Alexis: And another thing…
Alexis: If this talk goes badly, I’m going to need to send a message. One that’ll hit them hard. Get my point across once and for all that I’m not a pushover and someone to be messed with.
Jenson: Go on?
Alexis: If I give you the signal, you need to act fast, without hesitation.
Jenson: I will. What do I do?
Alexis: As soon as I give you the signal…
Alexis: You deliver a bullet directly to Peter’s skull.
Jai: Have you spoken to Henry?
Jai: I’ll do it myself.
Peter: There’s no point getting techy with me, Jai. Henry’s not had a spare minute since this meeting with Alexis was planned.
Jai: I appreciate that, but it’s been two days since Sean was exiled and the longer we leave him out there, the more he’ll continue to fall off the wagon and the harder it will be for him to get sober again.
Peter: He was off the wagon days ago.
Jai: Regardless, I’ll leave this place if I have to, to take care of him.
Peter: I love Sean, but maybe this is something he’s going to have to get through himself?
Jai: You’ve given up on him.
Peter: No, I haven’t. It’s just… his demons are his own, Jai. You can’t fix them for him.
Jai: I can help.
Jai: And just for the record, he did stop drinking before. And even though it physically killed him, he never let on how much. It was after Lorna and Milo went missing. He stopped because he knew you’d need him. And now when he needs support, you’re not willing to give it.
Peter: I’ll talk to Henry.
Jai: You will?
Peter: Go sober him up.
Lydia-Jean: Today, just after two o’clock, Alexis is having a meeting with a rival group. They’ll be entering from the front. All eyes will be on them.
Lorna: So, I could get in from the back?
Lydia-Jean: I believe so.
Luke: I don’t feel good about this.
Lydia-Jean: It’s all right, Luke.
Lorna: What’s the problem, ginger?
Luke: My problem, baldy, is I have a little brother in that town. People I care about.
Lorna: And I don’t intend on hurting any of them. Unless, of course, you’ve taken Alexis to your heart.
Lorna: Then I wouldn’t be too worried, sport. She’s the one I’m after.
Luke: I’m gonna look around. Gather some shit. If we go back empty handed, they’d just get suspicious…
Lorna: I thought maybe you changed your mind. About all this.
Lydia-Jean: To be honest, I did. At one point.
Lorna: What brought you back around?
Lorna: What did she do?
Lydia-Jean: What she always does. Takes things too far.
Lydia-Jean: I’ll see you later, I guess?
Lorna: You will.
Lorna: And Lydia?
Lorna: I meant what I said. I’m just after Alexis. Nobody else. Make sure your friend knows that.
Lydia-Jean: He won’t say anything.
Lorna: Just make sure.
Lydia-Jean: All right.
Sean: Her rosy cheeks… her ruby lips… like arrows pierced my breast… and the name she bore was Flora… the lily of the West.
Jai: How we faring, Sean?
Sean: Oh, Jai. How are ya? Come for a pint, lad? Join me in a sing-song?
Jai: Aimi’s with me. Tidy yourself up.
Sean: Ah, what’s the fuckin’ point?
Aimi: Peter’s going to talk to Henry. We’re gonna try and get you back into camp.
Sean: Waste of time, sweetheart. Henry’s had a fuckin’ problem with me since day dot.
Jai: That’s not true. You really annoyed him, but he’s had a few days to cool off. If you sober up, you might be in with a chance.
Sean: I don’t give a shit anymore, old man. Best off away from there. Nothing but shitty memories.
Jai: Sean, please, do this for me. Get yourself up. We’ll straighten you out and we’ll see about you having a talk with Henry.
Sean: You’re not expecting me to fucking apologise, are ya?
Jai: Just swallow your pride, friend.
Sean: Not a fucking chance in hell am I apologising to that prick.
Sean: Get it into your thick skulls, will ya?
Aimi: Do you not care about any of us!?
Sean: Don’t ask stupid questions, lass.
Aimi: Then why won’t you get a hold of yourself and do this for Jai and me!?
Sean: I’m not apologising to that self-righteous prat.
Aimi: Then to hell with you!
Jai: Joy’s dead.
Sean: You think I’ve forgotten?
Jai: Which means you’re my closest friend left alive, Sean. I love the others with all my heart, but they’re kids. And they’re like my own, but there’s the age difference. With you and Joy, it’s different. I need to rely on someone… and now that she’s gone… you’re all I have left.
Sean: Don’t guilt-trip me.
Jai: It’s the truth.
Sean: Just give up on me, Jai. Like the rest of them.
Jai: No. I won’t do that, Sean.
Jai: I’ll be back. Keep this door locked.
Henry: No. Absolutely not.
Peter: Henry, c’mon. He’s one of us.
Shiloh: After everything we’ve got going on today, you’re worried about that arsehole?
Peter: Sean’s a good man. He’s been through more than you could ever understand.
Shiloh: Oh, boo-fucking-hoo. We’ve all been through shit. I can’t believe you’d defend that cunt after the way he behaved at Annette’s funeral.
Peter: Call him that again, and we’re gonna have a problem.
Shiloh: Oh, yeah?
Henry: Get out, Shiloh.
Shiloh: Excuse me!?
Henry: You’re not helping matters. Once again, your temper gets the better of you.
Shiloh: So, he’s allowed to threaten me!?
Henry: You spoke badly of somebody he loves. You need to learn you can’t just open your mouth, say whatever you like and expect to get away with it.
Shiloh: Fuck this.
Henry: I know he’s difficult, Peter, but he is still my son.
Peter: No, I understand. I’m sorry.
Henry: As for Sean…
Henry: If all goes well today and he turns up here tomorrow, sober, and he apologises to everybody for his behaviour, then he can come back.
Peter: Thank you, Henry. I appreciate it.
Let me get this straight…
Howie: You put together a committee to make decisions…
Alexis: To assist me in making decisions.
Howie: And yet you expect us to take a back-seat during the meeting between a rival camp!?
Monty: I’m afraid I must agree with Howie. Shouldn’t we be present?
Alexis: Truth be told; I don’t know whether I can trust this group. I’m facing them today with only a few armed guards to protect me. If they decide to throw a punch, it’s definite that I’ll be the one they take out. I want the three of you to be kept safe no matter what.
Alexis: So if something happens to me, you three will be able to carry on in my place.
Monty: I guess that makes sense.
Howie: Like hell! You just want to have the full say with what happens!
Alexis: That’s not true, but this is something I have to do alone. Like I said, if something was to happen to me, or God forbid, if we lost this place, everyone here will need someone to lead them, to maintain order and keep everybody safe, you three will be the only ones capable.
Howie: But regardless, we should have a say regarding the fate of the prisoner.
Alexis: I don’t even know how it will go myself. During the meeting, the three of you will be held in the basement here and kept under armed guard. It might seem like an extreme precaution, but we must be prepared for all possibilities.
Monty: Do you really think it’s necessary?
Bernadette: She’s obviously thought this through. As usual, her first priority is this place and its people. We should be thinking the same way.
Alexis: Thank you, Bernadette.
Howie: I guess we’ll stay put then…
Alexis: I’ll see you all later tonight. I’ll brief you all in on what happens.
Howie: Too right you will.
Alexis: That’s them out the way…
Bobby: It must be past lunch time surely?
Charlotte: They might have forgot to bring us food.
Bobby: Are you kidding? It’s been consistent the past two days. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. And unless I’ve lost it completely, breakfast was hours ago.
Drew: Do you ever stop whining?
Bobby: Oh, I’m sorry. Am I supposed to be happy about our current situation!?
Drew: No, but instead of moaning like a little bitch, why don’t we actually come up with a plan?
Charlotte: What can we do? They’ve taken our weapons and nobody ever comes in here alone. The person who delivers our food has two armed guards.
Drew: I’ll think of something.
Bobby: Yeah, you do that.
Michael: Honestly, I’m at a loss for words.
Catelyn: Coleman assured me that me and the baby are safe here…
Michael: You are.
Catelyn: You promise?
Michael: I’m not going to let anything happen to you. Don’t worry.
Catelyn: What about Alexis? Are you going to tell her?
Michael: Not right now. She’s got a lot on her mind, and between you and me, this is something I think we should keep quiet.
Catelyn: All right.
Alexis: Hello there.
Alexis: Nice day, huh?
Alexis: Do you ever speak?
Zahra: When I have something worth saying.
Alexis: Would you mind stepping aside? I need to talk to Michael.
Zahra: Catelyn’s with him.
Alexis: So? Can you move?
Alexis: Don’t make me ask again
Alexis: I said move!
Catelyn: Hey, everything OK here?
Zahra: Come on.
Alexis: What the hell is going on!?
Alexis: That creepy one-eyed woman wouldn’t let me in!
Michael: She wouldn’t?
Alexis: Why was Catelyn in here with you?
Michael: She wanted my opinion about something.
Alexis: About what?
Michael: It’s nothing.
Alexis: Why do I get the feeling you’re keeping something from me, Michael?
Michael: I’m not. And regardless, haven’t you got a meeting to prepare for?
Alexis: This isn’t over.
Sean: Jesus… need a fuckin’ piss…
Jenson: It doesn’t look like they’re preparing for a fight.
Matt: You think Alexis is paranoid?
Jenson: Yeah, but if I was her, I would be, too.
Matt: You would?
Jenson: Come on, why do you think I backed down and let her run things without kicking up a stink? The leaders… the people in charge… the ones with the power… they’re the most at risk. Guys like us, we’ll fly under the radar.
Jenson: We best head back. She’ll be tearing her hair out waiting for us no doubt.
Matt: She really wants us to kill that guy? What’s his name?
Jenson: Peter. Yeah. She said she might need to send a message. To show she’s not to be messed with.
Sean: The fuck?
Matt: So, it’s definitely happening?
Jenson: I dunno… she said if she gives us a signal, we fire.
Matt: I hope it doesn’t come to that.
Jenson: Me too.
Sean: Fucking shit fuck…
Donna: I’m not happy you’re making me stay behind.
Henry: You’re our best shot. Should anything happen here while the rest of us are away…
Donna: I never said I didn’t understand your reasoning. And I don’t disagree with you. I’m just not happy about it.
Henry: You’re one of the few I trust to keep this place safe in my absence.
Donna: Well, I am the most gifted motherfucker in the world when it comes to guns.
Henry: And modest to boot.
Donna: I could take out a small army on my own, let’s be honest.
Henry: Let’s hope to avoid that.
Peter: I think I might sit this one out.
Henry: What? Why?
Peter: Leaving Beatrice again… I’m not sure I have it in me.
Henry: She’s more than safe here, Peter.
Peter: I don’t doubt that for a second, I just don’t think I’m needed. After all, you’re in charge here, and it’s safe to say you do a stand-up job.
Henry: That’s sweet of you to say. And it means a lot.
Peter: So, maybe it’s time I took a back seat? Left it to you?
Henry: While I appreciate what you’ve said, I think you’re mistaken. I don’t just want you to come with me, I need you to.
Henry: I’ve never dealt with this woman before, you have. If she’s going to pull anything, you’d know a lot quicker than what I would.
Peter: I suppose.
Henry: It’s your choice, my friend. If you’d rather stay here with your daughter, I can’t force you. It wouldn’t be fair.
Peter: Considering it’s just a meeting, I’ll come.
Henry: Thank you, friend. It means a lot.
Georgie: You don’t have to stay behind. If you want to go, you can.
Calvin: Nah. It’s probably for the best I stay put, keep an eye on things here.
Georgie: We have Donna for that.
Calvin: I’m just as useful as she is, you know?
Georgie: How did you manage to say that sentence without laughing?
Calvin: (Laughs). God knows. No, honestly, I’d rather be here. There’s more than enough of us going. I’d like to stay here… with you… if that’s OK?
Georgie: No complaints from me.
Peter: Hey, Georgie? Got a sec?
Aimi: You’re not coming with us?
Jai: I think it’s best I stick around, try and get Sean straightened out.
Aimi: We need you out there, Jai, should something happen…
Jai: I’m sure it’ll be fine.
Aimi: But if it’s not? What if it kicks off and some of us are injured, or worse?
Jai: Maybe Felicia could go?
Aimi: Henry said she couldn’t handle a kitchen knife, let alone a gun. You’re a fighter as well as a healer. We need you.
Jai: Sean needs me.
Aimi: He’ll still be here, pissed out of his skull, by the time we get back.
Jai: Fine. I’ll get my stuff.
Aimi: No need. I already did.
Angie: You OK?
Shiro: Fine. Just eager to get going.
Angie: You’re worried about Drew.
Shiro: So what if I am? He’s not a bad guy, you know? Not really.
Angie: I never said he was.
Shiro: I’m not in the mood for a chat. Can you just go hurry the others?
Angie: All right.
Alexis: How’s it coming?
Steph: Everything’s prepared. Jenson and Matt are back.
Alexis: Good. I’ll catch up when them in a sec.
Steph: Matt can join Alvin and I on watch-posts. Coleman’s standing by in the infirmary in case… well, you know. And Michael’s in his lab, safely out of harm’s way.
Alexis: And the other residents?
Steph: All inside. Bernadette, Monty, and Howie are all being guarded by Jason in one of the cellars.
Alexis: Good. They won’t be intervening, then.
Alexis: Who have I got with me on the ground?
Steph: Jenson, Tariq, and Monika.
Alexis: She can handle a gun?
Steph: Yeah, she’s been learning off Jenson. She’s a decent shot.
Alexis: Good. Thanks, Steph. You best get back on watch.
Jenson: It doesn’t look like they’re prepared for an assault. They have the same weapons and vehicles as before. It seems they’re going to play nice.
Jenson: Are we?
Shannon: What’s going on?
Daniel: And where’s Bernadette?
Luke: I told you both to stay upstairs with Jasmin.
Daniel: But why?
Luke: Just do as I say!
Lydia-Jean: Bit hash.
Luke: Not really considering a bald, crazy woman is about to enter the complex to kill everyone…
Lydia-Jean: Alexis, Luke. That’s it. And then once it’s done, we can go free Charlotte and Bobby, and get the fuck out of here.
Luke: How can you be sure of that? How can you trust her?
Lydia-Jean: She’s not a bad woman. Not really.
Luke: You spent what? Three days with her? She might be tricking you.
Lydia-Jean: She’s not.
Luke: Why do you want Alexis dead anyway? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t trust her one bit, but you told me she’s your Aunt…
Lydia-Jean: She’s nothing to me.
Luke: Even so, wanting her dead. Bit extreme, no?
Lydia-Jean: Let me get one thing straight…
Lydia-Jean: Alexis is a friend to nobody but herself. If Lorna gets her way, if Alexis dies today, the world will be a better place for it.
Steph: They’re here!
Alvin: Before we open the gate, we’d just like to remind you we’re letting you in out of good faith that this meeting will be friendly.
Henry: It will be. Nobody wants a conflict here today.
Henry: I guess I should just cut to the chase. Our man, Drew. We want him back, alive and unscathed.
Alexis: You are aware I took him hostage because he entered my complex to spy on us? It’s not as if we come across him in the open and snatched him up. We’re only defending ourselves.
Henry: I understand, and it was a mistake on my part, to observe you.
Jenson: And what about him?
Jenson: He’s the one who was watching us the other day. The one I fought with.
Dwayne: Got away from the groaners, then?
Jenson: Barely. Prick.
Peter: This doesn’t have to get nasty.
Alexis: I made it clear to you all the night Eli died, I’m to be left alone. What part of that didn’t you understand?
Henry: The decision to send Dwayne to watch you… to send Drew in… it was my call, not Peter’s and his group.
Alexis: You’re all together now. That puts you all in the same boat, as far as I’m concerned.
Shiro: Is Drew alive?
Alexis: He’s comfortable and we’ve fed him three times a day. We’ve been more than fair.
Henry: And I appreciate it, but I’m asking nicely for him to be returned to us.
Alexis: Why should I do that? So you can leave and then continue spying on me?
Henry: I just wanted to see if you were a threat, if this was a place I needed to worry about.
Alexis: Why would you consider me a threat? I’ve not shown the slightest bit of interest in any of you.
Alexis: Excuse me?
Shiloh: I saw two of your guys; the red-head and the guy with the afro. Spying on us from afar.
Alexis: This was after…
Shiloh: Drew arrived? No, it wasn’t. This was days ago.
Henry: We’re both guilty of invading each other’s privacy. We’ve established that.
Henry: So, can we quit the bullshit and start negotiating?
Charlotte: Something must be going on. I haven’t heard a peep in hours.
Bobby: Maybe they’ve been attacked? Michael’s dead got out, or something?
Charlotte: Oh, God.
Drew: Here’s hoping.
Charlotte: There are innocent people out there… kids…
Drew: Not my problem.
Alexis: So I give you Drew and let you all leave… I don’t see how that benefits me.
Henry: It doesn’t start a conflict. We can part ways here amicably… agree to keep out of each other’s way. I think that sounds like a good deal for us both.
Alexis: I’d be returning a man to you. That’ll be one more to your number. Let’s say you decide to come back in a few days and use what you know and have seen of this place against me…
Peter: We’re not going to do that.
Alexis: I’m supposed to trust your word?
Peter: What sort of people do you think we are, Alexis!?
Alexis: You tell me.
Angie: How can you stand there with your holier-than-thou attitude after what you did to Vicky?
Alexis: This again?
Angie: Don’t get me wrong, she was annoying, and downright self-centred and spoilt in many ways, but she was a human being and a good girl deep down. And you murdered her. Don’t you fucking dare brush her off as if she was nothing.
Peter: Look, let’s calm down here and take a moment…
Angie: Where’s my brother?
Angie: I know he’s here, OK? Where is he?
Alexis: Bobby and Charlotte are currently occupying the same cell as Drew.
Angie: What the fuck!? You’ve locked him up!?
Alexis: I gave the two of them clearance to stay here, where they’d be safe. They repaid me by breaking into a restricted area where Michael is currently conducting experiments with the dead. I made it clear it was off-limits, and they completely ignored me. I had no choice.
Angie: Let him go, Alexis.
Alexis: Maybe I’ll be reasonable. Maybe I’ll let you take the three of them alive…
Peter: We’re not interested in Charlotte. Kill her for all I care.
Peter: You forgetting what she did, Jai!?
Alexis: Bobby and Drew, then. I’ll return them to you safe and unscathed and you can all walk out together. But in return, I want some weapons, like the nice, big gun you’ve got there.
Shiloh: I don’t think so, lady.
Alexis: Then we don’t have a deal.
Alexis: What are you doing here!?
Michael: I have something I want to say.
Alexis: I can handle this by myself.
Michael: But maybe you shouldn’t have to?
Michael: Give me two minutes, Alexis. Please.
Sean: How long have I been out?
Sean: Shit… the sun’s moved fucking miles. Was hours ago…
Sean: I don’t have the energy to make it all the way up there…
Georgie: I wonder how it’s going.
Calvin: Henry’s great with people. I’m sure it’ll be smoothed over and they’ll all come back with Drew.
Georgie: Here’s hoping.
Calvin: Do you mind? Watching her all the time?
Georgie: At first I did. I didn’t want the responsibility.
Calvin: But now?
Georgie: My group… we became a family. And as much as Beatrice tires me out and frustrates me… well, I guess I’ve fallen in love with her.
Calvin: And so you risk your life to keep her alive…
Georgie: I’d die a thousand times over to stop her from getting hurt.
Calvin: And you wonder why I like you so much?
Calvin: How’s it looking?
Georgie: That’s good, right?
Donna: No. Puts me on-edge even more.
Calvin: Um, why exactly?
Donna: Because if we were to get attacked, they’d show up out of nowhere. It would catch me off-guard.
Donna: What is it!?’
Waylon: Smoke! To the west!
Donna: The hell!?
Georgie: That fire’s close.
Calvin: I’m not good at telling with these sort of things, is it within a mile?
Donna: Can’t you tell!? It’s in front of the mountain, not behind it!
Felicia: Where’s Elaine? She might know what Henry would suggest.
Waylon: I haven’t seen her.
Donna: Me neither.
Georgie: So, what do we do?
Waylon: We have to check it out!
Donna: It could be a trap, dumbass. A ploy to lure us away from safety.
Calvin: Hold on a second…
Calvin: Isn’t that the Swan and Ox?
Michael: You know, I have to say, it completely baffles me that we have two strong, well-armed communities where people can be safe, and yet you’re all stood here staring daggers at one another.
Michael: Would it kill you all to put aside any grievances, any grudges, and come up with a way of working together?
Alexis: It can’t always be that simple, Michael.
Michael: Pardon my French, but that’s bullshit. We’re outnumbered a thousand to one by the dead. We have tough enough odds as it is, and yet we’re all willing to give ourselves more threats to contend with? I mean, for crying out loud, let’s make life a bit easier for ourselves.
Michael: We don’t have to be the best of friends, hell you don’t even have to like each other, but you’re both leaders who are fighting to keep their people alive, why not become allies? Work together in spite of any differences and actually support each other through this shit-storm? I think it’s safe to say, we’d all sleep better at night knowing there was another large group out there watching our backs.
Henry: He has a point.
Alexis: I suppose you’re right, Michael.
Angie: Are we just supposed to forget everything she’s done?
Michael: None of us are perfect, Angie. We’ve all got blood on our hands.
Lorna: Some more than others.
Donna: Keep your guns ready. If you see anything out of the ordinary, you fire.
Sean: About fucking time!
Donna: ARE YOU ALONE?
Donna: ARE YOU ALONE, DICKHEAD!?
Sean: Yes, I am! I started the fuckin’ fire! Lower the shitting guns, will ya!?
Georgie: What the hell are you playing at, Sean!?
Sean: I needed to get your attention.
Donna: So, you set the fucking pub ablaze!?
Sean: Hell, it’s something I seem to be making a habit of. I didn’t have it in me to climb those god-forsaken ladders and it would’ve taken me too long. Time is of the essence.
Calvin: What are you talking about?
Sean: Earlier, I heard two of Alexis’s men pass by the pub. They were obviously scouting out Midway from afar. I heard them say that Alexis has something planned where if she gives them a signal, they shoot and kill Peter.
Donna: And you waited ‘til now to tell us!?
Sean: I tripped and passed out! I’ve only just woke up!
Georgie: What do we do!?
Sean: We fuckin’ go and warn ‘em, that’s what!
Donna: I don’t know if that’s a good idea.
Sean: You can give me a fuckin’ lift, Donna, or I’ll drive there me’self. As drunk as a skunk.
Georgie: We’ve got the camp covered, Donna! Waylon and Mark are on guard now and we’ll join them! But Sean’s right, you have to go!
Donna: You see anyone you don’t recognise, you fucking shoot, understand?
Calvin: We will.
Georgie: Be careful.
Sean: You know me, lass.
Sean: Come on, grumpy. Let’s get a move on.
Alexis: What the hell is going on!? Who are you!?
Jai: Oh my…
Aimi: Lorna, what are you doing here!?
Shiro: Did you do something with your hair?
Alexis: How did you-!?
Lorna: Alexis Norton?
Lorna: That’s you, I assume?
Alexis: Who’s asking?
Lorna: That doesn’t matter. What matters is your town will soon be infested with the undead if you do not hand yourself over to me and follow me outside this complex.
Alexis: Excuse me?
Lorna: If it wasn’t for you, my son, Milo, would still be alive.
Alexis: What the hell are you talking about!?
Peter: Don’t do this, Lorna!?
Alexis: Isn’t this your wife!? Is this a trap!?
Peter: I didn’t even know where she was!
Lorna: How can you just stand there and do nothing, Peter? How can you face this woman and consider working with her after she caused the death of our boy?
Alexis: Are you insane!?
Lorna: More than likely, but being a hostage to Eli Loche will do that to a person. But as you seem unaware, Alexis, I’ll catch you up to speed. The night Eli died, Peter asked you for a vehicle. He, at the time, believed I was about to die in retaliation to Eli’s death. For no reason other than spite, you refused. My son died as a consequence.
Lorna: And now Alexis, you’re going to pay for that.
Alexis: I don’t understand…
Lorna: My son is dead because of you. Peter missed the chance to save him by seconds. Had you given him car, he might still be here today.
Alexis: I didn’t know…
Lorna: It doesn’t matter. What’s done is done. And there’s a price to pay.
Alexis: You do realise my men have their weapons pointed at you, right? And you’re carrying what, a sickle? You think you can get anywhere near me with that thing before they shoot you down?
Peter: Lorna, please, don’t do this. We can’t bring Milo back.
Lorna: That’s why I’m doing this…
Lorna: You coming with me, or not?
Alexis: Yeah, this may surprise you, but I’m gonna pass on that, thanks.
Lorna: Have it your way.
Lorna: Peter, it’s time for you all to go.
Lorna: It’s about to get very nasty here. Please, take your people and go.
Henry: What are you talking about?
Lorna: Just do as I say.
Aimi: Lorna, this isn’t going to accomplish anything. Just calm down and we’ll talk.
Lorna: Final warning, Peter. They’re getting close. You need to go while you can.
Alexis: What have you done!?
Lorna: Me? Nothing.
Lorna: All I did was open some doors.
Lydia-Jean: Oh my god…
Luke: So, it’s just Alexis she wants to hurt, is it!?
Sean: How much further!?
Donna: A few miles.
Sean: Well, get a move on!
Donna: You wanna walk, Paddy!?
Sean: Might be faster…
Howie: We should be out there.
Monty: Howie, please, we spoke about this.
Howie: The meeting must have started. As member of the council, we had a right to have a say over the prisoner’s fate. She’s taken that away from us!
Bernadette: She’s trying to keep us safe.
Howie: I don’t buy that for a second.
Howie: Let me past.
Howie: Excuse me!?
Jason: Sit your arse down.
Alexis: Oh my… !
Peter: We need to get out of here!
Angie: I’m not leaving without Bobby!
Alexis: I have to help fight them off!
Michael: You’re in danger! We need to move!
Lorna: Run away all you like, Alexis.
Lorna: The cat always gets the mouse in the end.
Jai: Peter… this is Lorna’s doing… all of this…
Peter: You think I don’t know that!?
Jai: We need to stop her!
Rachel: Are we going, or what!?
Jai: Maybe this could an opportunity to show Alexis we can be trusted?
Henry: You’re saying we should help!?
Jai: I am.
Henry: Fuck it.
Henry: You heard the man! FIRE!
Monika: THEY’RE HEADING TO THE HOUSES!
Monika: We have to warn the others!
Alexis: I’m not losing this place… not to that psychopath!
Michael: I think we lost her.
Alexis: You sure?
Michael: There’s so many of them. It’s hard to…
Alexis: Are you sure, or what!? It’s my blood she’s after remember!?
Michael: We’ll stay here, if she turns up, we run as fast as our legs can carry us.
Alexis: What about the town!?
Michael: We can’t help them, Alexis. You can’t risk going out into the open.
Howie: Something’s happening!
Jason: I’m sure it’s all fine.
Howie: Step aside, Jason.
Monty: Come on now. I’m sure it’s all OK.
Bernadette: I think he’s right, Monty. Something definitely sounds wrong. If something’s happened, we should be out there…
Jason: Nobody is going-
Jason: Oh, fuck it…
Steph: Are you people happy with yourselves!?
Peter: This wasn’t us!
Shiro: And in case you hadn’t fucking noticed, Barbie, we’re trying to help!
Aimi: There’s so many!
Luke: Excuse me? You can’t just come barging…
Angie: Bobby!? BOBBY!?
Lydia-Jean: You know Bobby?
Angie: I’m his sister! Where is he!?
Lydia-Jean: Alexis locked him up.
Javier: Where are they holding him?
Lydia-Jean: I don’t know… but we can look. I’ll help!
Lydia-Jean: This place is gone, Luke. We need to get out while we can.
Luke: I’ll catch up with you. I have to fetch Jasmin and the kids.
Lydia-Jean: All right.
Lydia-Jean: This way!
Bernadette: Oh my word!
Howie: This is chaos!
Monty: Monika!? MONIKA!?
Monty: No! NO! PLEASE! NO!
Monty: Darling… stay with me… please…
Howie: Monty… I’m sorry. She’s gone.
Shiro: Get the old man inside before he gets himself killed!
Alvin: They’ve got fucking recruits!
Lorna: Where is she!?
Peter: You need to stop!
Lorna: Stay out of my way!
Lorna: Go on then, darling husband.
Lorna: Pull the trigger. End this.
Donna: Sean!? Oh, where the fuck has he gone!?
Alvin: BACK THE HELL OFF!
Donna: Whoa! Easy!
Alvin: This was a trap, wasn’t it!?
Alvin: They let in the dead and now their reinforcements are coming!
Donna: What are you talking about?
Alvin: You’re a dead woman!
Sean: Ain’t got time for this shit…
Sean: Come on, lass!
Steph: She opened the gate, too! More are pouring in!
Henry: How do we shut it!?
Steph: There’s a switch, but it’s directly next to the door!
Aimi: That’s too far away.
Shiloh: You can all make it! I’ll cover you!
Coleman: No… Steph… oh, please no!
Coleman: I should be helping… I should do something…
Coleman: Oh, God… I’m useless.
Lydia-Jean: This is it!
Javier: Back up. I’ll shoot the lock.
Bobby: What are you-!?
Angie: Long story! We need to get out of here now!
Javier: Good to see you, amigo.
Bobby: I missed you.
Javier: You, too.
Shiro: You OK?
Drew: Why wouldn’t I be?
Drew: Hell, Shiro. You actually look worried.
Shiro: We need to go…
Angie: I have nothing to say to you.
Bobby: Angie, don’t.
Angie: Come on. We’re leaving.
Bobby: Hold on!
Lydia-Jean: You all right?
Charlotte: Yeah. Fine.
Lydia-Jean: Come on. I think I know where they put your weapons…
Bernadette: What on earth are you doing!?
Luke: We’re leaving!
Bernadette: Excuse me?
Luke: I’m going after Lydia. She’s freeing Charlotte and Bobby and then we’re getting out of here.
Bernadette: Things are getting under control now…
Luke: We need to get going, Bernie! This town isn’t good for us anymore.
Bernadette: Lydia-Jean… she must have freed them but…
Luke: But what?
Bernadette: Not in front of the children…
Luke: JUST TELL ME!
Bernadette: They didn’t make it.
Bernadette: And the dead are making their way up here. We need to get upstairs and hide!
Luke: I can’t believe they’re gone…
Daniel: Luke, please, come on!
Bobby: Are we leaving!?
Angie: Damn right we are!
Bobby: We can’t just leave Charlotte!
Angie: We can, and we will.
Bobby: Hear her out!
Angie: It’s not up for discussion, Bobby.
Lydia-Jean: Luke said he’d meet us…
Charlotte: He must have left already.
Lydia-Jean: We should wait.
Charlotte: We can’t afford to.
Alexis: Any sign?
Michael: I can’t see her.
Alexis: OK, that’s reassuring.
Michael: No, I’m not sure that’s a good thing.
Aimi: GATE’S SHUT!
Jai: Where is she!?
Peter: I can’t find her. Maybe we should…
Sean: Oh… oh…
Sean: Jesus… you try and do a good fuckin’ thing…
Jai: You’re OK!
Sean: And there I was thinking I’d need a second opinion.
Peter: Why did you do that!?
Jai: And why are you here!?
Sean: I heard some of Alexis’s men earlier… they said… they were gonna kill ya, Peter. I had to get here… warn ya… didn’t expect this to happen, gotta admit.
Jai: Just hang in there, OK?
Sean: I’m done for, Jai. You know it, I know it. No point treading on eggshells.
Sean: Shit… this fuckin’ hurts like a bitch.
Aimi: What do we do!?
Sean: Nothing we can do, darling.
Sean: Peter, lad. Take me out. C’mon. This old dogs had it.
Peter: I can’t…
Sean: I’m done in, pal. I’ve done what I can… I’m just sorry it wasn’t enough… ya know?
Peter: You saved my life.
Sean: That I did. It’s safe to say you owe me a pint.
Sean: Someone… please… don’t make me beg… I don’t want this dragged out… just stop it… I ain’t becoming one of those fuckers…
Sean: Not you! You ain’t earned the fucking right!
Peter: Sean… I’ve never told you how grateful I am.
Sean: It doesn’t matter, pal. I’ve always known.
Angie: Oh, God.
Sean: Don’t get upset, lass. This was bound to happen… sooner… or later…
Sean: That’s it, son. Just do it. It’s what I want… I’ll see Annette. I was wrong… to act the way I did… I see that now. I just loved her… and that makes ya do stupid things, don’t it?
Sean: Come on, boyo. Please.
Jai: I love you, Sean. We all do.
Sean: Aye. I know. And I feel the same. Especially when it comes to you, old man. In fact, you might just be the best fuckin’ mate I’ve ever had in me sorry excuse of a life.
Sean: Now, if one of you fuckers would kindly-
Peter: This was you.
Lorna: I’m sorry.
Peter: You caused this!
Lorna: I told you to leave.
Lorna: Where’s Alexis?
