Calvin: What’s the matter?
Shiro: I go on a run for three days, get back…
Shiro: And there are huts!
Calvin: We found a truck by the construction site. Was a simple case of shipping everything over.
Shiro: We’re not playing around.
Calvin: And why would we? It’s getting colder by the day. I had to check my little guy this morning to make sure he hadn’t fallen off.
Shiro: Not like you ever got much use out of it. You and Georgie have been shacking up, though. Have you given her your flower?
Calvin: I… uh… I’m not gonna talk about that.
Shiro: I always thought we’d move on from this place. Didn’t see how it was feasible to stay over winter.
Calvin: Henry’s changed that.
Calvin: Trust me, dude. This place is just getting started.
Shiro: And you’ll be here for me to pick on for months and years to come.
Shiro: You not speaking to me?
Lorna: You saw the smoke!
Shiro: It makes this easier…
Shiro: We were probably never going to see them again anyway.
Lorna: But we were doing this for them! To give them a chance!
Shiro: Yeah, well, now we do it for ourselves.
Lorna: The hell is wrong with you!? The people you love might have died! Some of them probably did! And you act like it doesn’t matter!?
Shiro: We haven’t got time to process this now, Lorna.
Lorna: Drew was there! Jai… Georgie… Peter…
Shiro: I’m sure they’re fine.
Lorna: We need to go back.
Shiro: We’ve come this far. Not backing down now.
Lorna: Shiro –
Shiro: You’re not changing my mind, Lorna.
Lorna: You hear that!?
Shiro: Must be hundreds. They haven’t seen us though.
Shiro: No. It’s good. We might need them.
Shiro: You backing down? If so, you need to tell me now. I don’t know what the fuck that smoke means, but whatever it is it’s only given us more reason to do this.
Tut, tut, tut…
Shiro: Didn’t you know you should never leave a baby unattended?
Bernadette: Is he conscious?
Cecilia: I’m keeping him sedated for the time being.
Bernadette: How is he?
Cecilia: His injuries aren’t life threatening, but he had a nasty fall and his burns…
Bernadette: They’re bad?
Cecilia: I can treat them, and they’ll heal, but he’ll be in a lot of pain for a while and with plastic surgeons hard to come by and skin grafts practically impossible…
Bernadette: He’ll be OK. That’s the main thing. Oh, Luke…
Henry: Hate to rush you, Noah, but we need a decision.
Noah: I can’t help you.
Henry: They’ve just destroyed our home! Killed more of our people!
Noah: And I’m sorry.
Henry: Doesn’t sound like it.
Noah: I can’t risk getting my people – or what’s left of my people – embroiled in a crazy gunfight for the sake of revenge.
Henry: You don’t think Blaine will come after you next?
Noah: You can all stay for as long as you need. But I’m afraid that’s all the help I can offer.
Noah: We all need sleep. Speak in the morning, gentlemen.
Henry: Back-up would’ve been nice.
Peter: Nothing we say is gonna change his mind.
Henry: So, we give in?
Peter: Get some rest.
Peter: Beatrice OK?
Georgie: Sound asleep. I just wanted to know when we’re going? To help Lorna and Shiro?
Peter: I don’t know.
Georgie: You don’t know!?
Peter: If we’re gonna go, we need to make a plan.
Georgie: They could die!
Peter: And they were aware of that before they left. That’s the choice they made. We’ve all just been through a trauma, Georgie. We’re in no position to jump into action straight away. Shiro and Lorna have gone off on the deep end. And as much as it pains me to say, they’re gonna have to keep themselves afloat for the time being.
Elaine: Did I startle you?
Elaine: You were certainly surprised to see me earlier.
Noah: Yeah, well, I thought I’d never have to see you again.
Elaine: Sorry to disappoint.
Noah: You’re with Henry? When you’re so desperate to find Cheung?
Elaine: Henry has his uses.
Noah: Clearly. But neither he nor any of the others seem to be aware you know me.
Elaine: I keep my cards close to my chest.
Noah: Well, if it’s all the same to you, I’d like to get to the main reason as to why you’re creeping around in my bedroom.
Elaine: Neither of us say anything to Henry or any of the others. Agreed?
Noah: Forgive my vindictiveness, but after all the trouble you’ve caused me and my people trying to look for this place, I think I’d rather enjoy filling everybody in on what you’re really like.
Elaine: Then maybe I would find my mouth running away with me? I could tell people about Cheung. And what he has. And where he is.
Noah: You don’t even know yourself.
Elaine: But I know what he’s on. And if that became common knowledge, the others would like the sound of that, wouldn’t they? Somewhere safe. Heavily armed. Invulnerable to the dead. They may go to desperate lengths to get that information out of you. Especially as they’re homeless now.
Noah: Are you threatening me?
Elaine: Do you really need to ask?
Noah: We don’t know each other.
Elaine: Never met before in our lives. And I trust you’ll tell the rest of your people to follow suit.
Elaine: See you later, Noel. It’s Noel, right?
Peter: Sorry to barge in on your home like this.
Diego: Don’t sweat it, man. Though I wouldn’t exactly call this home.
Peter: Then what is it?
Diego: Somewhere temporary. ‘Least it was supposed to be.
Diego: I can’t believe what happened to your town. That’s so fucked up.
Diego: What do you do now?
Diego: Against those sons-of-bitches who killed Jock and Niko? You can count us in.
Peter: I thought the same…
Peter: I’m not looking to start anything.
Peter: Noah said that’s not gonna happen.
Diego: Decided that for everybody, did he?
Alexis: How did you get in?
Shiro: It wasn’t exactly smart to get an old man to guard the broken gate.
Alexis: Reginald… did you kill him!?
Shiro: Didn’t need to. Stevie Wonder could’ve done a better job.
Alexis: Can I have my son back, please?
Lorna: Your son?
Alexis: My son.
Shiro: Don’t see the resemblance myself.
Alexis: His mother died.
Shiro: You don’t exactly strike me as the adoptive-mother-type.
Alexis: You don’t know me, Shiro. Don’t pretend to.
Shiro: I think I know you well enough.
Alexis: Are the rest of your people–?
Lorna: It’s just us.
Alexis: Are you the only survivors?
Shiro: What did you do?
Noah: We’ll talk about this in the morning.
Diego: We’re discussing it now!
Noah: I don’t appreciate you taking this tone with me!
Diego: I’m in the mood to get some payback on those scumbags! Or are you not interested in getting justice for Niko and Jock!?
Noah: I would love nothing more. But it’s not a priority.
Claire: What’s our priority, then? ‘Cause all it seems like we’ve done since is sit around twiddling our thumbs as our group got smaller and smaller.
Noah: That’s not fair.
Diego: She’s right, Noah. I’m dedicated to our cause – to you – but we may as well face the facts. We’ve been abandoned. You’re just too proud to see it.
Cecilia: He has done everything for us!
Cecilia: He’s kept us safe… made the difficult decisions and carried them on his shoulders so the rest of us could sleep at night. I understand you’re frustrated, but you’re out of line for talking to him like that!
Noah: Thank you.
Cecilia: You don’t need to thank me, Noah. They were wrong.
Noah: They were right. About everything.
Cecilia: What do you mean?
Noah: I haven’t heard anything in days. There’s been zero word on when we’re supposed to leave. Or where we go. It’s like they’re not even interested in speaking to us since we delivered the bad news on Michael Lewis. And I think they blame me for what happened to Jock.
Cecilia: Do you think something has happened on their end!?
Noah: I got through to Anthony last night, but he said they’re busy and they’ll get back to me.
Noah: Some point over the next few weeks.
Cecilia: Weeks!? I thought we were almost out of here!
Noah: So did I.
Noah: I think we should help Henry.
Cecilia: I understand the desire to get payback. Niko and Jock were good people and the way they were murdered was despicable, but some things are more important.
Noah: I know. But I figure this could be our last chance to provide something useful.
Cecilia: Such as?
Noah: Alexis. She might know things. And she’ll certainly know where all of Michael’s work is located.
Cecilia: You know that for sure?
Noah: She moved it from his lab. Told me herself.
Cecilia: Are you sure about this?
Noah: No. But I think we should do it anyway.
Noah: Get some sleep, everyone.
We move out on Victoria first thing in the morning.
Shiro: You blew them up?
Alexis: Blaine did.
Shiro: He acts on your orders.
Alexis: Not on everything.
Lorna: He taken control?
Alexis: The nerve of you… coming here… touching my son after what you did to Michael!
Lorna: I regret it.
Alexis: And that makes it OK!?
Shiro: I don’t think you of all people get to claim the moral high ground right now.
Alexis: I had to give Blaine the go-ahead! I knew you would be coming for us! It was an awful decision and I’m truly sorry about it, but I’ve got my baby to think about!
Lorna: Jesus Christ. He’s not even your son!
Alexis: I’m all he’s got! I’ve got to keep him safe! No matter the cost!
Shiro: What about allowing that buddy of yours to shoot at us from the bushes like a fucking coward!?
Alexis: I didn’t authorise that.
Alexis: It’s the truth! He was told to surround you all and take you hostage so I could demand all the food you took from the warehouse and for Bernadette and your psycho friend there to be handed over! Once you complied, you were free to go. And that would have been the end of it. I did not give him approval to do what he did!
Shiro: I don’t believe you.
Alexis: He killed Jenson when he tried to stop him. He was a friend. I cared for him. I don’t care if you don’t believe me…
Shiro: Wasn’t Vicky a friend of yours, too?
Alexis: Don’t compare me to Blaine! The situations… they were different…
Lorna: Then why is he still here? Why not kill him?
Alexis: I kicked him out a couple of nights ago, just seconds before one of you drove through one of our gates!
Shiro: My sister was killed.
Shiro: She was good. Too good for this world even when things were normal. She didn’t have a malicious bone in her body. All she ever did was care about people. She didn’t deserve to be shot from behind by a fucking madman!
Alexis: I’m sorry.
Shiro: I don’t think you’re sorry for anything.
Alexis: You’re wrong.
Shiro: You say anything we find suspicious and we’re opening fire through the door. Understood?
Blaine: Did I hear you speaking or is my mind playing tricks?
Alexis: Was just talking to myself.
Blaine: First sign of madness. Where’s the baby?
Alexis: Coleman offered to have him for the night so I could get some sleep.
Blaine: Well, I’m afraid that might be the second thing I blow to hell today.
Blaine: I asked Carlos to search the area where I suspect Noah and his people are located. He saw some of the Midwayians heading there. After the explosion. Might have been on a run, or something? Sneaky bastards. Wanted to get ‘em all.
Alexis: How many?
Blaine: He doesn’t know for sure as he was hiding, but he thinks he heard enough of them to be concerned they could cause problems if they turned up.
Blaine: I’m gonna get the town fortified and get everyone out of bed and ready to hit them when they turn up. Finish this once and for all.
Blaine: You got a better idea?
Alexis: You’re not doing it.
Blaine: Then what do you propose!? We welcome them in, offer them some coffee, and ask nicely for them to fuck off!?
Alexis: What has become increasingly evident is that your compulsive tendency to resort to violence to solve our problems has done nothing but escalate tensions and cause unnecessary bloodshed. On both sides.
Blaine: If you had let me handle things in the first place…
Alexis: I never should have let you in to begin with.
Blaine: Either you have a serious case of amnesia or you’re intentionally deciding to forget that you would’ve lost this place to Bernadette if it wasn’t for me!
Alexis: I’ve not forgotten. I’ve just come to realise it wasn’t worth it.
Blaine: You ungrateful brat!
Alexis: I want you gone.
Alexis: Excuse me?
Blaine: I said to you earlier that I’ve got to finish this by doing it my way and you agreed!
Alexis: And look where it got us. They’re probably heading this way right now. Angrier than ever.
Blaine: I’m finishing this.
Alexis: This is all just a game to you, isn’t it!?
Shiro: Is this a ruse?
Lorna: I don’t think so…
Alexis: These are real people. All of this matters.
Blaine: Since when has that been of concern to you!?
Alexis: I can clearly turn the other way on a lot of things we’ve done, but you treat all of this like you’re some sort of teenager playing a strategic board game!
Blaine: Get cosy, Alexis, because I’ll tell you a little story. And with any luck, it’ll open your eyes!
Blaine: My granddaddy and my old man both went in similar ways. Both were among the best damn soldiers any army could ever possibly ask for. But one simple, little mistake got both of them killed. World War One, my granddaddy came across a wounded German. Fucker had his leg blown off. He decided to take pity on him. Turned around. Walked away like he’d never seen him. He got a bullet in the back for his troubles. Died a few days later.
Blaine: Vietnam. Daddy dearest’s regiment got attacked in the middle of the night. Those vicious bastards sprung out of nowhere. He was one of the few to get out. He had a choice. Stand his ground and take out as many as he can, or save his own skin. He chose the latter. Little did he know they followed him back to his brothers-in-arms. And that was the end of all them. You know how much it affected me to grow up without a father? It was fucking shit, Alexis. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
Blaine: But this is war. And if you wanna survive, you don’t make the mistake of showing mercy. And you sure as shit leave no stone unturned. That’s all I’m guilty of.
Alexis: That was a lovely story, Blaine, but I’m not buying it.
Blaine: You don’t have to buy shit! It’s the way it is!
Alexis: I’m going to open the gates and let whoever survived that explosion walk right in.
Alexis: So, if I were you, I’d leave before they get here.
Blaine: They’ll kill you!
Alexis: I’ll explain to them. Tell them everything. How it was all your idea. If they still wanna kill me, well, then that’ll be their choice. But if I’m honest, I’m hoping Stephen can guilt-trip them to take pity on me.
Blaine: You can’t be serious.
Alexis: No more fighting, Blaine. No more violence. Not for this place. Not for your sick, twisted games. I’m done.
Blaine: Well, I’m not.
Alexis: You’re to leave. Immediately.
Blaine: Didn’t have to come to this.
Alexis: Always how it ends when you’re involved.
Blaine: I always admired your backbone, Alexis. But it appears it’s completely disintegrated.
Alexis: Or I’ve just finally grown one where you’re concerned.
Blaine: After this is over, you and I are gonna have to talk about what’s best for this place.
Alexis: It won’t be you.
Blaine: I’m finishing this. If you have any sense, you’ll stay out of my way.
Alexis: Surprised you didn’t come out and take a shot.
Shiro: I wasn’t sure if it was a ploy…
Lorna: You had a gun all this time?
Alexis: I’d be an idiot not to keep one in my desk. And you were idiots for not checking.
Shiro: What are you gonna do?
Alexis: I’m gonna sit right here. And you’re gonna hand over Stephen.
Lorna: And why would we do that?
Alexis: So, you can do us both a favour and go and put that rabid dog out of his misery.
Noah: Can’t sleep?
Peter: Worried about Lorna and Shiro.
Noah: Won’t be long until they get back-up.
Peter: If they’re still alive.
Peter: Thanks for changing your mind.
Noah: It was the right thing to do. Plus, I don’t think I would have been in a position to stop Diego and Claire from going with you. Nor would I have had the right.
Peter: We can win. I know we can.
Noah: We have to.
Noah: Screw it. If we’re both wide awake, we may as well let our hair down and play some foosball.
Peter: Who needs sleep when we might die tomorrow anyway, right?
Noah: That’s the spirit.
Shiloh: Oh, sorry.
Henry: It’s all right, son. I’m done. You OK?
Shiloh: Having trouble sleeping. Charlotte’s out like a light. I keep looking at her, thinking that tomorrow I could be lying in a bed without her, or her without me.
Henry: We can’t let it happen, Shiloh. We won’t.
Shiloh: I’m so glad I found her.
Henry: I’m glad you did, too. She makes you happy. That’s all your mother and I ever wanted for you.
Shiloh: I’m so sorry. All that hard work… everything you’ve done… I know Midway meant everything to you.
Henry: Not everything. I’m just glad I still have you and Elaine. And that the people we’re closest to made it out. But I’ll carry the loss of Felicia, Penny, and the others with me until my dying day. They weren’t fighters like the rest of us. They were innocent people. I should have protected them.
Shiloh: There’s no way you could’ve known.
Henry: I don’t think I ever earned the right to call Midway mine.
Shiloh: Why would you say that?
Henry: After I arrived I was so happy to see you, but it became apparent to me quickly that I might lose you again. Things were chaotic. Clifford was making one stupid mistake after another. He would’ve gotten everybody killed.
Shiloh: It was the drink… and the drugs…
Henry: It was late one night. About a day after I arrived. He’d sent Dwayne and two of the other guys I never got to know out on a run to confront a group who were causing trouble. Dwayne was the only one who came back. Yet Clifford didn’t seem to care. He was too intoxicated to even stand. I went over. Tried to reason with him. He spat at me. Threatened to expel me and you if I dared question him again. He may have used a word I’ve heard far too many times over the course of my life.
Henry: He stumbled away. Walked right past the ladders. Something just came over me. He didn’t fall off the roof because he was drunk like you all believed.
Henry: I pushed him.
Henry: Elaine knows. Nobody else. Maybe what happened yesterday was just inevitable. Maybe it was punishment for what I did. It was cowardly… something I’d never condone. I know Clifford had his faults, but he was a good man once upon a time. Had his demons. Just like Sean. I messed up with him, too.
Shiloh: Why are you telling me this?
Henry: Because you’re my son. And I have no right asking you to show me respect when I’m keeping this from you.
Shiloh: Clifford was a waste of space. He would’ve gotten himself killed, and probably everybody else with him. OK, what you did wasn’t exactly noble, but you taking over was the best thing that ever happened to Midway. You kept us safe. You led with dignity and compassion. And I’ll always respect you for that, Dad.
Blaine: Sorry to wake you all up at such a late hour, but I’m afraid we’ve all got an impending threat to deal with.
Noreen: You think they’re coming?
Blaine: I do, Noreen. Right now, in fact. We have to get ourselves prepared.
Howie: We want no part in this.
Blaine: Beg your pardon?
Howie: We’re not fighters, Blaine!
Blaine: Howie, I’d break this to ya gently, but we don’t have the time. So, if I want you to fight; consider yourself a soldier. If I want you to protect me with your life; consider yourself my bodyguard. If I want you to bake me a lemon drizzle cake; consider yourself a fucking baker. Understood?
Blaine: Get ‘em ready, Carlos.
Laurie: They’ve had one session, Blaine. They can fire the weapons, but their aims are all over the place. They’ll be next to useless.
Blaine: Don’t fret. I have an idea.
Alexis: He’s surrounded by too many of them.
Shiro: We could take them.
Alexis: No, Shiro, you couldn’t.
Lorna: What do you suggest?
Alexis: Wait until they all get into position, then leave here, sneak around the houses, go to wherever Blaine is and finish this before it even needs to begin.
Shiro: You think all is forgiven? That after Blaine’s dead, we can just forget about everything?
Alexis: Why don’t we cross that bridge when we come to it?
Shiro: Don’t worry. We will.
Henry: We ready to go?
Peter: Yup. You OK?
Henry: Eager to finish this.
Jai: Shiro’s fine. I know it.
Drew: I hope so.
Angie: You coming?
Bobby: I’m allowed?
Angie: You’re old enough to be able to decide for yourself.
Bobby: I’ll stay. Keep an eye on things here.
Bobby: Just because I think I could handle it, doesn’t mean I could.
Bobby: Be careful.
Angie: I love you.
Bobby: Love you, too.
Cecilia: I don’t want to stay behind.
Noah: I know.
Cecilia: I’m more than capable.
Noah: I know.
Cecilia: Better shot than you, as it happens.
Noah: I know.
Cecilia: Then why am I sitting this out?
Noah: I need someone here.
Cecilia: Gwen’s staying?
Noah: Someone I trust. If Diego, Claire, and I don’t come back, it’ll be down to you to get in touch with Anthony. To ensure you and Gwen are rescued.
Cecilia: I’m not going without you.
Noah: Won’t get much choice if I get a bullet to the eye.
Cecilia: That’s strictly forbidden.
Cecilia: I’m not saying goodbye.
Noah: I know.
Peter: I’m not happy with you coming.
Angie: It’s not up to you.
Peter: You’re going into a gunfight with a bat.
Angie: I think it’ll work just fine against Alexis’s skull.
Peter: Is this why you’re coming? Because of some vendetta?
Angie: And so what if it is?
Peter: I get it, OK? You hate her. And you have every right to after what she did to Vicky.
Angie: And Aimi. And Dwayne. And Calvin. And Felicia. And Penny. And–
Peter: But you can’t do anything rash in the heat of a fight. Keep your head cool. I mean it.
Angie: I’m not the one who goes around slitting people’s throats open, Peter.
Lorna: I’m sorry.
Lorna: About Michael.
Shiro: The fuck are you apologising to her for?
Alexis: I’m not interested anyway.
Lorna: He seemed like a good man. It’s just… my head was all over the place. I don’t expect you to understand, but I was leaving… and he…
Alexis: Said you were like Eli.
Lorna: I’m not.
Alexis: Didn’t mean you had a right to kill him.
Shiro: You got anything you want to apologise for, Alexis?
Alexis: Have you?
Blaine: If you tell me you’ve come to help, I might just drop dead of shock.
Matt: Leave them out of this.
Blaine: And why would I do that?
Matt: If there’s any decency in you at all, don’t involve them. They don’t deserve to be used.
Blaine: That’s enough.
Matt: They can’t fight!
Blaine: Go back inside and don’t let me see your face again until this is all over. Next time you step outside without permission, a bullet’s gonna fly. Understood?
Reginald: You sure they’re coming?
Blaine: Positive, old man. Everyone get into position.
Shiloh: So? What’s the plan for when we get there?
Henry: I have an idea.
Peter: Care to share?
Donna: The fuck you staring at?
Carlos: Someone check it out!
Yvonne: It’s empty!
Shiro: I’ll track you down if you run!
Alexis: Just finish him!
Lawrence: Why aren’t they helping!?
Casey: Fancy doing something, Howie!?
Shiloh: Is this seriously the best they can do!?
Lawrence: We surrender, OK!?
Lawrence: We’re sitting ducks! This was their plan all along! I’m not dying for them!
Henry: Slide your guns away and walk out with your hands in the air!
Henry: Check for weapons.
Blaine: Time to crash the party…
Blaine: What the–!?
Diego: Are you all right!?
Claire: Carry on!
Jai: I’m OK!
Henry: Stay down!
Peter: Angie, put pressure on the wound!
Donna: Attagirl, lardass!
Cecilia: You all right?
Bobby: Just worried.
Cecilia: We should have faith.
Gwen: CeCe! Someone’s coming!
Cecilia: Far too soon for them to be back!
Cecilia: Everyone stay here! Kids, raise your guns at that door! If you see anyone you don’t know walking through it, open fire!
Bobby: What about you!?
Cecilia: I’m gonna see if someone’s taken it among themselves to stage a break-in.
Bobby: And if they have!?
Cecilia: I’ll go Kevin McCallister on their asses.
Lawrence: I’m getting out of here!
Monty: Lawrence, no!
Carlos: Desertions a capital offence. bud!
Rachel: We can’t get a good angle! Shiloh, Donna, Charlotte, take cover by the flower beds when we get an opening! Diego and I will cover you!
Shiloh: Good call.
Charlotte: Thank fuck for that…
Shiloh: You stay in cover no matter what, OK!?
Cecilia: You picked the wrong woman to piss off!
Angie: If you die, I’m following to you the afterlife, dragging you back, and killing you myself.
Jai: That’s completely nonsensical. But I appreciate the sentiment.
Shiloh: The hell are you doing!?
Charlotte: They’re not paying me any notice…
Charlotte: Trust me…
Charlotte: OK. That was closer than what I was comfortable with.
Shiloh: I swear she’s trying to give me a fucking heart attack!
Donna: Young love, eh?
Carlos: Just me and you, old timer!
Henry: Keep at it, everyone! There’s just two left!
Georgie: And Blaine.
Rachel: And now gate-crashers!
Drew: We’ve got it.
Angie: Take over, Georgie.
Georgie: What are you doing!?
Angie: Something I should have done a long time ago…
Jai: Angie, no!
Alexis: Shh. It’s OK, little man. I’m here.
Angie: You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this!
Shiro: Lorna… Lorna!?
Shiro: Urhg…. youfucking… urg…
Blaine: Who was it I killed in the woods, buddy? Your better-half? You looked mighty upset when she hit the floor like a sack of shit.
Blaine: I’m guessing she didn’t make it? Sucks for you. If it makes ya feel any better, I intended for the two of you to go together.
Blaine: Don’t worry. I intend to put things right. You’ll be with her in a matter of seconds. Just relax.
Shiro: It was my sister, you cunt!
Shiro: Are you OK!?
Lorna: I thought I was… for a moment…
Shiro: Me and you both!
Shiro: The hell you smiling for!?
Lorna: When I realised… I wasn’t…
Shiro: Spit it out.
Lorna: I was relieved. I didn’t… I didn’t think that’s how I would feel.
Shiro: Well, I’m happy for you.
Lorna: Where’s Blaine?
Shiro: He’s done for.
Blaine: Fuck! FUCK!
Reginald: Blaine’s gone! This is over!
Carlos: Not until the fat lady sings, Reggie!
Charlotte: I’ll clear the way to the infirmary!
Coleman: Easy, Charlotte! It’s me!
Coleman: Is it over!?
Charlotte: Not yet. Two of our people are injured.
Coleman: I’ll help. But I need something first.
Shiloh: Got the fucker!
Reginald: Fuck! No!
Donna: Old man’s losing his marbles.
Shiloh: Got a shot?
Shiloh: End it.
Georgie: Did we just do it!?
Drew: I think so.
Henry: Everyone keep your weapons raised! This might not be over!
Alexis: I told Vicky it was a mistake to let you into the penthouse! Wish she had listened!
Angie: I’m not the one who killed her, you fucking psychopath! Twice I’ve tried to get some remorse from you for what you did! Twice you laughed in my face! Like she was nothing!
Alexis: Angie… please! Stop!
Angie: She deserved better!
Angie: Aimi deserved better, too!
Angie: So did Calvin!
Angie: And so did Dwayne!
Angie: This place could’ve been something good! Vicky wanted it to be! You took that from her! You took that from everybody! What happened out there is because of you! Because you wanted this place to yourself so you could play Queen! Was it worth it, Alexis!?
Angie: WAS IT!?
Alexis: No, Angie.
Alexis: It wasn’t.
Alexis: I have a baby…
Angie: Oh, give me a break.
Alexis: I’m all he’s got. Please… Angie… he’s special…
Angie: I’m not feeling very merciful.
Noah: Bat down.
Charlotte: She’s a prisoner!?
Coleman: Help me bust the lock!
Peter: Are you OK!?
Lorna: Been better.
Drew: You fucking asshole! I thought you were dead!
Shiro: We thought the same about all of you. We saw the smoke…
Drew: Midway’s gone.
Peter: She’s safe.
Peter: We’ve gotta get out of here.
Henry: Everyone regroup back at Noah’s!
Shiloh: I’ve gotta find Charlotte. She went to free a prisoner. We’ll be right behind ya!
Jai: It’s just a graze.
Rachel: He’s being heroic. The bullet’s still in there, but we’re getting him back.
Diego: Claire’s in no fit state to go anywhere. We’ll wait for the doctor.
Peter: The dead…
Diego: I can handle it. Go.
Henry: Noah went after her.
Peter: I should…
Henry: He’ll bring her back, Peter.
Diego: Help me get Claire to the infirmary.
Noah: I’m sorry, Angie. We need her.
Angie: Like a hole in the head!
Noah: My people, I mean. My community. Step aside.
Noah: Michael’s research…
Alexis: I destroyed it.
Alexis: Because I knew you wanted it. I memorised his papers. All of it.
Noah: You’re lying.
Alexis: There were two hundred and seven pages in total. Read through all of them at least five times during bouts of insomnia. He had a lot of interesting theories.
Noah: You’re just trying to keep yourself alive.
Alexis: Which is exactly why I read them. When we first met, you warned if we ever killed you or took you prisoner; your people would take this place. I believed you.
Alexis: So, after the way things were left between us, I knew I had to prepare myself for such a possibility. And here we are.
Noah: I can’t tell whether you’re lying or not. But trust me, I’ll get the truth. Walk.
Noah: I’ll carry him. Move.
Coleman: C’mon! I’m getting you out of here!
Blaine: Argh… fuck…
Georgie: Blaine, I presume?
Blaine: That’s right, sweetheart. Look, I know we’re at war and everything, but I’m in a bad way here.
Georgie: I can see that.
Blaine: It was Alexis who did this. She manipulated the situation… escalated it… made my people and I think that if we didn’t do as she said, you’d come here and kill all of us… hell, she turned out to be right. I just wish we hadn’t listened.
Blaine: You seem like a nice girl. If you could just help me to safety… I’ll get myself sorted and you’ll never hear from me again.
Blaine: Why would you do this for nothing, right? Especially after all I’ve done. Nah, I get it. I respect you even more for it, actually. We can work something out? I have weapon stashes close to here. Plenty to keep you people safe for a real long time… and food… I can get you that, too.
Georgie: You killed the man I loved.
Blaine: It was Alexis… honestly… that woman is poison!
Georgie: His name was Calvin.
Georgie: Say his name.
Georgie: SAY HIS NAME!
Georgie: He was a good man. Funny. Sweet. I never thought I’d find someone like him.
Georgie: You’re going to your grave, Blaine. But before you leave I want you to know what you have inflicted upon me. Someone you’ve never even met.
Georgie: Because of you I never got to tell him I was pregnant.
Georgie: Not a word. To anyone.
Donna: We need to go.
Howie: Alexis!? We need to put the committee back together and have an emergency meeting to discuss where we go from here!
Howie: Alexis, if you’re leaving, then I think it may be down to me to take over as leader of this place! It’s not too late! We can still–
Alexis: I have another gun.
Noah: You don’t say? Hand it over.
Alexis: Should have frisked me.
Noah: Was that necessary?
Alexis: He was gonna die anyway.
Alexis: And you have absolutely no idea how irritating he was.
Noah: I was getting the idea.
Shiloh: We need you in here! Now!
Coleman: On my way!
Noah: I’m gonna take her back.
Angie: Don’t turn your back on her, Noah. Not for a second.
Noah: Take the baby.
Noah: I can’t concentrate on keeping her in line and holding him at the same time.
Alexis: Noah, wait! Please!
Alexis: Look after him, Angie! I’m begging you!
Coleman: I’m sorry. She’s gone.
Charlotte: I heard about Catelyn. I’m sorry, Zahra.
Coleman: The bleeding wouldn’t stop… I was exhausted… Alexis told me to let her go. I put something in a drip so she wouldn’t suffer. It was quick… painless…
Coleman: I’m so sorry, Zahra. I tried. I really did.
Shiloh: He sorta deserved it.
Angie: We gotta go!
Bobby: He turned up at Noah’s!
Javier: I saw Midway. I thought you were all…
Angie: You came back.
Javier: What happened to you!?
Bobby: Save the cosy catch-up for later! C’mon!
Monty: You going somewhere!?
Charlotte: Monty? What’s wrong?
Monty: What’s wrong!? Are you people forgetting what you did to my little girl!? To Monika!?
Charlotte: Lorna let the dead in when she died, Monty! It wasn’t us!
Monty: She’s was with you today! And it was another one of your little friends who drove through the gate the other night!
Shiloh: Look behind me, old man! We haven’t got time! We’re going! And you should, too, if you wanna live!
Charlotte: Come with us, Monty.
Monty: I’d rather those things get me.
Charlotte: We’re not bad people. Please…
Bobby: Screw this…
Monty: Nobody moves!
Lydia-Jean: Are you OK!?
Bobby: I’m all right!
Angie: Are you sure!?
Bobby: I can move! Let’s go!
Bobby: JAVIER! GRAB HER AND GO!
Diego: WE NEED TO MOVE!
Bobby: JAVIER! FOR ME! PLEASE!
Javier: Te amo, brother.
Angie: JAVIER, NO!
Angie: PUT ME DOWN! BOBBY! NO!! PLEASE!!!
Lydia-Jean: We can’t just…
Shiloh: He’s gone, LJ! Go!
Shiloh: Charlotte? We’ve gotta go.
Charlotte: Cover me a second.
Charlotte: Just do it! I can make the shot… I need to….
Noah: I know your son’s still out there, Henry. Diego and Claire are, too. We’ll do all we can to bring them back.
Henry: Can we send a group out?
Drew: I was out there for less than ten minutes and I must’ve seen three hordes. Minimum.
Elaine: They’ll survive, sweetheart. They know how.
Peter: And they know where to find us once the horde disperses.
Noah: Why is nobody answering my calls!?
Georgie: You were rude to the doctor when she tended to your wounds.
Alexis: You the manners police?
Georgie: Given your current predicament, you might want to start being nicer.
Alexis: You want me dead? Like the rest of them?
Georgie: I wanted Blaine dead. But I wouldn’t lose sleep if they decided to dispense with you.
Georgie: It’s weird. After all this time of hearing about this woman who led an entire town and had an army at her disposal.
Georgie: I expected someone more impressive.
Bernadette: Hello, Alexis.
Bernadette: Noah sent me to get you.
Alexis: Something funny?
Bernadette: I’m just enjoying the spoils.
Cecilia: He’s gonna be fine.
Cecilia: You two close?
Shiro: Been with him since the start.
Cecilia: Seems like a good man.
Shiro: He’s OK, I guess.
Peter: You look like you’re doing well. All things considered.
Lorna: I am.
Peter: If you need anything…
Lorna: I’d like to see Beatrice at some point over the next few days.
Lorna: If that’s OK?
Peter: Of course.
Lorna: You’re not here.
Lorna: You never were.
Lorna: I made myself see you… talk to you… I allowed my imagination to run away with itself. I wanted company because as much as I tried to pretend otherwise, I was terrified of being alone. Being around real people wasn’t a good idea. I was dangerous. I wanted to lash out at everything and everyone. The rage and guilt consumed me. You were useful for that. You kept me determined… angry…
Lorna: But it has to stop. I have to stop, Eli.
Lorna: Enough now.
Noah: Sit down. Don’t move.
Alexis: Any word on the others? Stephen?
Noah: I’ll be in shortly. And when I do, you best be prepared to talk.
Noah? You there? Come in?
Alexis: Alexis. Who’s this?
Anthony: Anthony. Who the hell are you, Alexis!?
Alexis: I’m a friend of Noah’s.
Alexis: It’s a very long, complicated story. I’m sure he’ll bore you with it.
Anthony: This is a major breach of protocol but we don’t have time to discuss that now. Put Noah on.
Alexis: He’s not here.
Anthony: Then get him!
Alexis: I can’t.
Anthony: We’ve got major problems here.
Alexis: What’s going on?
Anthony: The dead! They’re going to breach the compound within the hour. We’re evacuating. I’m calling through to send over the details of the extraction.
Anthony: Oh, for crying out loud! I don’t have time for this! Get Noah!
Alexis: I can pass on the information.
Anthony: Absolutely not.
Alexis: Sounds as if you don’t have much of a choice.
Anthony: You got a pen and paper?
Alexis: I have a good memory.
Anthony: Yeah, well, you better! I’m only saying this once and then this place is shutting down. They’ll be no further communication from this facility. Make sure Noah understands that!
Alexis: Oh, I will.
Anthony: Well!? You ready!?
Alexis: Go ahead.
The Last Ones season three will air later this year.
